Document Title
Resetting Cached Initiator iSCSI HBA Configuration Information

Document Description
There are specific situations when the cached initiator iSCSI HBA configuration information in the xSeries or BladeCenter server must be reset so that it can be rebuilt to match the current configuration.

For example, if an initiator iSCSI HBA is moved from xSeries system A to xSeries system B, the cached information that is stored in the iSCSI HBA may not be correct for system B. In this example, the cached information that is stored in the iSCSI HBA should be reset so that it is not used for system B.

See the Resetting the cached iSCSI initiator configuration information topic in the IBM® System i® and IBM ®System p® iSCSI Host Bus Adapter for IBM xSeries and BladeCenter document.
