Abstract
CLIENT ACCESS AFP VIEWER FIXES

This Information APAR provides information on obtaining
fixes for the AFP Viewer support that is provided with these
two Client Access clients:
- Client Access for Windows 95/NT (57xx-XD1) V3R2M0
- Client Access Express for Windows (5769-XE1) V4R4M0, V4R5M0
Fixes for the AFP Viewer function are not provided in
Client Access service packs. The fixes described
here can be used for either of the above two clients.
All fixes are in the following directory on the FTP site:

Here is a description of the fixes currently available:
A) Version 1.55 of the AFP Viewer is at:

This Version 1.55 of the Viewer will only work on Client Access
for Windows 95/NT V3R2M0 and Client Access Express. This
version is English only because of MRI changes.
Version 1.55 fixes the following problems:
1) Trap when scrolling in the Go To dialog.
2) Trap when creating a Note.
3) DBCS characters are corrupt in SCS spooled files.
4) Trap when using a Text Fidelity of Character on DBCS SCS
spooled files.
5) Greek letter A not displayed.
6) Characters from Latin2 data not displayed correctly.
7) Some Hebrew characters displayed as blanks.
8) Japanese SCS data not vertically aligned correctly.
9) Viewer reports invalid data when attempting to display a
file.
10) Viewer traps when viewing a spoolfile
11) Viewer unable to print to printers with long names.
12) Inline media maps cause errors to be issued.
13) The GoTo menu is incorrect on DBCS versions.
14) Some Hebrew characters do not display correctly.
15) Cut and paste adds extra spaces in pasted text.
B) APAR SA81097: file cwbprt32.ini fixes the reported problem
where spooled files which contain greater than 132 characters
per line cannot be viewed. The latest service pack for
your client access version should be applied, and
the fix is at:
