LAN Console Device Password Mismatch

Document Description
The PC service tools device password and the IBM System i service tools device password do not match. The service tools device ID is already in use or the passwords must be reset on this PC and the System i system.

This is the error screen.

Click OK, and a screen similar to the following is shown:

This is the error retry screen.

Click No, and use the following link to resynchronize passwords for the default device ID QCONSOLE.
