LAN Console Connection for Power6 and Power7 Quick Start

Document Description
This document includes instructions on setting up LAN console on the initial installation of a new server. This document only pertains to a non-HMC managed server. The procedure described in this document works with V6R1M1 and earlier POWER6 and POWER7 (ExB and E8C only) servers. It can be used with a POWER5 server running V5R3M5 and later LIC, substituting port T5 in place of T1.
